At Pho 5-10, we celebrate the vibrant spirit of Vietnamese cuisine right here in Castro Valley. A proud offshoot of Le Cheval an East Bay legend known for its decades of culinary excellence Pho 5-10 brings that same tradition of quality and authenticity to a new home.

Since our opening, our goal has been simple: to serve honest, heartwarming food made from the freshest local ingredients. From our richly aromatic phở simmered for hours, to the crisp, colorful spring rolls and hearty bánh mì, every dish captures the essence of Vietnam’s food culture bold, balanced, and beautifully fresh.

Vietnamese cuisine is a celebration of harmony fresh herbs, tangy sauces, and a perfect balance of sweet, salty, and savory. Every bowl of phở tells a story, every bite of gỏi cuốn (spring rolls) bursts with life, and every spoonful of nước chấm (fish sauce dip) ties it all together. Things We Cook the Best

Pho

Our signature Vietnamese noodle soup slow-simmered broth, rice noodles, and tender cuts of beef or chicken. A bowl that comforts, refreshes, and satisfies every craving.

Banh Mi

Crisp on the outside, soft on the inside our baguettes are filled with savory meats, fresh pickled vegetables, and vibrant herbs. A true fusion of French influence and Vietnamese soul.

Spring Rolls

Fresh, light, and bursting with flavor. Rice paper rolls packed with shrimp, pork, vermicelli noodles, and herbs, served with our house-made peanut dipping sauce.

My group ordered pho and egg rolls on a cold Sunday, totally hit the spot. Everything is made fresh to order and you can tell it's made with love. The egg rolls were flavorful and crunchy and the pho was some of the best I've ever had. The broth was excellent and the meat tender. The owner came by a few times to ask how we were which was much appreciated. She's wonderful and truly cares about the customer experience. She even offered a complimentary Thai tea! Great time overall. We'll be back to try their noodle and rice dishes!

It was SOOO good!!! The spring rolls were so fresh and yummy especially served with the fish sauce. The pho itself was so rich and delish. The portions are huge and I had to take my home for leftover and it still felt like it was more than enough for a whole second serving!!! My fiance really loved his pho too (Beef Rib Eye + Brisket) He even went as far as saying its his new favorite spot! The service was just 10/10. Really nice/sweet lady who I can tell is the owner - she took care of us the whole time. She also mentioned the avocado smoothie towards the end and I had to get it. Def found our new go-to pho spot! Great time overall. We'll be back to try their noodle and rice dishes!
